In Between Concrete is a choreographic work that examines the materiality of absence.
Four bodies wrapped in fabric begin their restricted movement through space. The constant alternation between form and dissolution creates a sculptural abstraction, replacing the recognisable with the intangible.
“You cannot craft the in between, but you can craft the concrete out of which the in between will appear. With the work we want to challenge expectations of explicit presence by examining the potential of absence.” – RISK, in reference to the title of the piece.
